The Fused to Move Story...
Fused to move was created while I was traveling in the South of India and staying in a small alternative community, called Auroville. Its a pretty ‘Trippy’ (Hippie) place, not many people have heard of it, and when you speak to other travelers not many people have been there. Nevertheless, the place is full of inspiration and ideas and gives you the exposure to explore your minds ability to create.
In my case, it was allot of time, spent on the laptop writing and brainstorming a concept that represented 'me' and 'what I love to do'. (Travel, Write and Move). Physically and from destination to destination.
I was sitting in a local café / bakery, one of the only wifi hotspots in this place and felt the urge or the pull to start writing program content and what this journey really means to me. It was in this unexpected moment when the name and concept for Fused to Move came to life. The name simply dawned on me and all of a sudden pieces fell into place and each and every milestone up until now, now makes sense and has significance to the direction I flow. Fused to Move is about 'being the true you', self acceptance through understanding the way our body and mind are inextricably linked. For instance, if we have an ego driven perspective, we will believe that one method or one way is the best way for everybody. When we are fluid, receptive and open, we easily recognise the beauty in everything, from obstacles and every challenges to learning a new skill physically and being open to learning and adding new variations in order to progress physically and mentally.
Then it dawned on me...

It is mid July 2012 and I am currently living in Koh Phangan. One of the things that has become more reinforced in my time here is the concept of 'living with balance' and 'self acceptance'. While this may seem deep and emotional and way to much information to share for an 'about' page, you will know and understand the passion if you meet me...I really mean it.
For too long I have been hard on myself for whatever reason, but at the crux of it how can we find balance if we have never been off balance and if we are never off balance how to do we know if we are balanced. Many gurus and holier than thous may read this and think, what a load of crap...but whatever! The concept of balance does not factor in guilt or falling off the edge. To be truly balanced we need to stay present and enjoy each and everything we do. While going out and getting drunk each weekend is not the idea of balance, I say that whatever your means of fun, letting go to enjoy the many pleasures in life, like a glass of wine with some friends over a get together or a nice meal is absolutely necessary. But on the same note, I long walks on the beach and throwing the frisbee around is absolutely mandatory for our soul and our connection with nature. There is nothing like child's play to have fun and stay grounded while enjoying the many other simple pleasures...
