Here is the formula for getting out of a slump and setting clear goals
1. Describe clearly what you want & write it down
2. Define Why it is important to you and why you are doing this
3. List the Obstacles to achievement. If there were no obstacles between you and your goals you’d already be there.
4. Where can you get help? People, groups, organisations
5. What knowledge do you need to be more successful?
6. Write a Plan of Action to reach the goal defining each step along the way.
7. Specify a Date as to when they expected to get there.

We have all been there before, welcome to 'slumpville'! Population 1, Visitiors, 50 billion. At one point or another on our journey we experience times when we are highly motivated and tasks are effortless and on the flip side we experience times when we know we want something, but when it comes to executing we say, "ah tomorrow, next week or next month", or "I'll do it later", or even more popular, I should 'a', could 'a' would 'a'. This attitude can be in regards to ..saving money, finding a job, losing weight, and getting to training.

12 Detailed Steps to reach your goals
1. First and foremost "Make the commitment".
2. Keep a daily detailed record of accountability - You have to Discipline yourself on a daily basis to keep records on what you do. Each evening make your plans for tomorrow. Each evening list the six most important things to do for the next day. Prioritise them 1-6. Start the first one and continue until it’s finished (even if it’s not finished).
3. Start with a solid foundation - Honesty, integrity, character, motivation, faith and love.
4. Change your vocabulary - Self talk, You don’t pay the price for your success, you pay for the price of your failure. You don’t pay the price for good health, you enjoy the benefits of good health.
5. Divide your goal into small chunks - You have to see yourself getting there. You can see yourself achieving small chunks much more easily. Don’t procrastinate by worrying about the BIG goal, just focus on each small goal. People who wait for changes out there before they take action are just trapped in intentions. 6. Shape up mentally, spiritually and physically - The time and effort spent getting in shape is worth it. Inside of us all there is incredible potential.
7. Know how to respond to disappointment - It’s how we react that is key.
8. Discipline yourself - Remember motivation follows the action. When you "MOVE" you activate the pituitary gland, this floods the system with endorphins and you feel good.
9. When obstacles arise - change your direction to reach your goal, not the decision to get there.
10. Share certain goals but not others - Share your ‘go up’ goals very carefully and only with people who will encourage you in that goal. Share your ‘give up’ goals with everybody in sight – put yourself on the spot and get help in being accountable.
11. Become a team player, rather than a star - You reach your goals by becoming a team player, help other people reach their goals and you will reach your goals.
13. Visualize reaching your goals - You can do anything in your imagination. You have to be able to visualise yourself achieving your goals
